Andrea Zima ...

... has been an all breed dog and cat groomer for 20 years. She started her career with animals
working at an animal hospital when in high school. She attended New York School of Dog Grooming
in 1986. Her first grooming job was at Community Animal Hospital in Hazlet, New Jersey. You learn
real fast how to handle animals when you work at a vet because you have to deal with dogs and cats
that other groomers can't handle because of temperament, medical conditions, etc. She later worked
for Brookside Country Kennels in Warren, New Jersey as groomer and assistant kennel manager.

Andrea has attended numerous
grooming seminars over the years
to stay current with the latest
grooming techniques and
information. She has also taken
pet CPR certification with the Red
Cross.

Upon moving to Pennsylvania in 1990, she
groomed at the Powder Pupp. It was there she met
Cindy Smith. In 1998, she came to work with Cindy
at Tails A' Waggin'.
