Cindy Smith ...

...is a 1973 graduate of Governor Mifflin High
School. In 1981, she graduated from the Marie
Spatz School of Dog Grooming. She groomed at
home until both of her 2 children, Matt and Becky,
went to school. She worked at the Powder Pupp in
Sinking Spring until she opened Tails A' Waggin'
with Andrea Zima on March 23, 1998. Cindy
particularly enjoys grooming bichons and standard
poodles. She also works with dogs who need
"grooming rehabilitation." She often attends
grooming seminars and trade shows to enhance
her grooming skills.

Cindy lives in Bern Township with her husband Michael (the one who keeps our
shop looking so nice and running so smoothly), her daughter Becky, son-in-law
Shane, and 6 dogs: Clyde, a German shepherd mix, Mattie, a jack russell/beagle
mix, Griffin, a sheltie, Rocky, a chow mix, and Chloe and Alex, the rottweilers. In the
barn there 2 quarter horses, Zip and Star, and 3 cats. She enjoys spending time at
home with her family, including her 2 grandchildren, Jordan and Noah.
